Designing and Building a Mobile Investment Calculator

Simple Investment Calc is an investment calculator for iOS that I’ve been designing and building. This is a proof of concept for a more complex app that I’m currently designing, a financial calculator app that’s goal based (when will I save this much/have this much invested/pay this off) rather than outcome based.

The mockup on this screen is the latest build of the app, a fully functional investment calculator you can use. I have the app running on my phone (and the phones of a few other testers) via Test Flight and plan to release it in the App Store.

The app was designed in Figma then brought into Figma Make to add basic functionality. From there further development was done in Cursor, then I used Cursor to package a Capacitor app for deployment in Xcode.

Development on the goal based calculator is in progress and will be updated in a new project here soon.
